It was a very productive day on the Arakawa today with 8 eco-warriors collecting 93 bags of trash (77 actual bags + roughly equivalent of 15 bags for the large unbagged items.) Aside from being quite windy, the weather was great and the river was beautiful. People were coming and going all day with 2 people arriving at 9:00a.m., I and another guy arrived at 10:00a.m. One more person just before noon and 2 people came about 1:00pm after the morning group had left. Another member had collected about 15 bags last week. So the “free schedule” really worked out well. Two people came by car and everyone else came by bicycle.
