Another great day on the Arakawa at Funabori today. We were on the Nakagawa island almost under the C2 highway. Eighteen ecowarriors collected 182 bags of trash (162 actual bags + roughly 20 bags on the large unbagged items). We couldn’t have asked for better weather and the tide cooperated allowing us to access the area between the embankment and the tetrqpods. Attendance has increasing and today just over half the participants came from our upline group, Arakawa Clean Aid (www.cleanaid.jp) including several of their core members, which enabled us to really access some tough-to-get trash.
