Nineteen ecowarriors collected 71 bags of trash today from the Myoden side of the Edogawa in the area under the new Myoden Bridge. Broken down that was 43 bags of burnable trash, 4 bags of nonburnable trash, 2 bags of cans, 1 bag of clean PET bottles, 1 bag of glass bottles and roughly equivalent of 20 bags of large unbagged items). It was a tough course today with a rising tide taking away much of our path about halfway through and forcing us up into the grass. It was beautiful weather but just a bit windy on top of the levy. Then, nearby construction restricted some of access along a long course. But with the large number of participants we were still able to be collect quite a bit of trash. Eight participants went to nearby Tikka House afterwards for dinner.
