Edogawa River Clean Up today on the Barakinakayama side of the river behind the Clean Spa. 12 ecowarrirors turned out to collect 42 bags of trash.(38 actual bags + roughly 4 bags equivalent on the large unbagged items. Three people came for the morning session, and we had 11 people in the afternoon. The summer sun was out, so we took refuge under the 357 Bayfront bridge for a midday break. Beyond that bridge is Tokyo Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The tide was superlow in the morning but came in high in the late afternoon. This brings our total trash collected on the Edogawa in 2020 to 338 bags through 6 events or jut about on pace to reach 700 bags for the year.
