Arakawa Clean Up Weekend Part II. Three people came to the Arakawa today by bicycle, and adding yesterday’s trash, the total collected for this weekend was 57 bags of trash. The photo with the long blue foam thing was of this spot last October. This weekend was about our third or fourth effort at this spot and still a bit more work to do here. There was a homeless guy’s shelter there that the government had basically condemned and likely scheduled for removal. I’m not sure if they ordered him to leave or if the place was just abandoned. With nonessential government services closed for a month. We left the bags behind the tripods an will put them out for collection after Golden Week.
