Fifteen volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up event at Funabori and collected 70 bags of trash. It was raining all morning but fortunately the day cleared up and gave us near perfect weather, cloudy and a very comfortable temperature. A high tide coming in kept us away from the tetrapods in the afternoon, but we continued to make progress on the back side of the nakade island completing about a 3km stretch over 4 or 5 clean up events.
