Love Button Global Movement joined Tokyo River Friends for an Arakawa River clean up event on Monday. Eighteen volunteers collected 203 bags of trash (173 actual bags + equivalent of 30 bags on the large items). As a part of the Coldplay Music of the Spheres tour, in each city that Coldplay performs a show, Love Button volunteers with a local organization doing great things within the community. Being a very special event, we did considerable grass cutting of a very dirty area beforehand. Then with good weather, a lot of motivated people and a dirty area, we were able to go over 200 bags for the first time in 2023. Thank you to all participants for a great effort that resulted in a record collection. And special thanks to Oni-san, Soh-san and Christine-san who came out on Friday and Saturday to help with the grass cutting and removal.
