Eighteen volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River clean up at Nishi Kasai and collected 16 bags of trash. Once again we got hit with bad weather and only 3 regulars together with 15 people from the Indian International School in Tokyo. Most people did not have the proper footwear to go down the main target area, but progress was made in collecting a lot of the smaller pieces of plastics and trash on the embankment wall. Then, we had to quit early due to being wet and cold.
