Nine volunteers collected 33 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event near Funabori. At the start it looked like more trash but after removing the top layer it was a lot of smaller pieces, so it was a tough 33 bags to fill. Everyone made a great effort in the heat as we had to move to an earlier start due to the tide coming in during the early evening (the optimal summer cleaning time). Mina-san otsukaresama!
