Eleven volunteers collected 26 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up at Funabori. Great progress was made on the grass cutting in the morning and early afternoon with great weather but the moment the volunteers arrived at 3:00, it started raining. We waited out the rain under the highway and got in about an hour of collection but then got run out by rain again and finally decided to call it a day. The group photo had to be taken under the highway as the rain was bad at the end. Special thanks to everyone for braving a rain forecast and roughing it out in the rain today.
