It was a big day on the Arakawa today with 25 volunteers collecting 48 bags of trash. In the morning, nine members from another group, Kawano Te Fan Club, gathered and cleaned the dirty angle collecting about 20-25 bags. Then they came over and helped our target area by the pods and probably collected about 1/3 of our 48 bags. Then, at 2:30 16 members from TRF arrived. Due to the tide coming in as well as the heat, we cleaned the back side of the Nakagade Island under the shade of the huge overhead C2 highway. As we had cleaned this area last year, it was not super dirty, but still in need of a good cleaning. We finished with some final cleaning at the pod area, but most of the people had gone home before the final photo. It was a long day and a long hike. Minasan, otsukaresama deshita. Sorry if I missed tagging some participants.
