Nine volunteers collected 28 bags of trash at today’s Edogawa River clean up at Myoden. The plan to use the shade of the bay front bridges along with expected cool breezes blowing in off Tokyo Bay went exactly as planned, but the heat was still tiring, which limited collection time and shortened the event. Even with limited time, it was still a great effort by everyone to clean up this shoulder of the Edogawa River where it meets Tokyo Bay. Much trash had accumulated since our last effort on this spot about five months ago. Minasan otsukaresama! This was also the same spot where I rescued a kitten one month ago. I’ll put Shiro’s photos in the comments.
