Eleven volunteers turned out for today’s Arakawa River Clean Up event at Funabori and collected 56 bags of trash. Another 5 bags were added after the group photo. The weather was beautiful and even a little too hot. We completed the grass cutting all the way around that first section of tetrapods and removed a lot of trash but sadly there is still more to take. We did not have enough people today to take all of the exposed trash, so there will be at least one more attempt at this location.
