Nineteen volunteers collected 35 bags of trash at today’s Arkawa River clean up event. Joining 4 regular TRF members were 5 fifth grade students and about as many parents/teachers and then another 5 newcomers. This past week we finished clear cutting the entire first section of pods. There was scattered trash here and there with some accumulation near the pods, which we did our best to remove while about half the participants focused on smaller pieces closer to the embankment. Once again, it really a great effort by everyone to remove a large amount of trash. Mina-san otsukaersama!
