Eight volunteers collected 30 bags of trash at today’s Arakawa River clean up event. There were 5 regulars, 2 newcomers and 1 occasional participant. The summer heat has set in, and most of the low hanging fruit was gone, so participants really had to work to fill bags. We were able to clean up the dirty angle and about 40-50 meters down the side of the pods where a lot of trash accumulates. The trash bags in the background of some photos were from an event two weeks ago and had not been picked up by the city yet. Mina-san otsukarseama!
