It was a big day on the Arakawa yesterday with another “power event.” 24 people turned out and collected 114 bags of trash. It was a hot day but people kept showing up including one group that stopped to clean the dirty angle before joining the main group. One member came right at the end and cleaned for another 90 min. with me, so another 10-11 bags were added after the group photo. It was our 5th effort on this spot with a lot more trash to take, so we will probably hit it 4 or 5 more times before taking a mid-summer break. Minasan otsukaresma!
