Seven volunteers turned out for today’s Edogawa River clean up on the Barakinakayama side and collected 24 bags of trash. In what is becoming common on this section of the Edogawa, there were only moderate amounts of new accumulation and lots of smaller pieces being collected. The river has simply gotten a lot cleaner, but this type of residual cleaning is still very important. The weather was hot, so we started under the bridge and took two breaks out of the sun, but were still able to remove a lot of trash. Mina-san otsukaresama!
